Kynar
Body
The body
of our check valves is made in PVDF, or Kynar (a registered
trademark of Atochem North America Inc.). Kynar has good general
chemical resistance to hot acids halogens, alcohols, aromatics,
oxidants, mild bases and aliphatics. Kynar is also ultraviolet
resistant, fungus resistant, abrasion resistant and chloride
resistant.
Free
Floating Viton Diaphragms
Free floating
diaphragms allow the check valve to be used in any position
with little compromise in function. The free floating method
assures a quick response to changes in pressure and flow.
Diaphragms have been tested to pressures up to 150 PSI and
as low as 1 PSI. They are made in Viton.
Superior
Barb Design
Our Kynar
check valves are designed for exacting instrument applications
and feature a newly designed barb without a parting line.
No parting line and a sharp barb eliminate any possibility
of flash or mold mismatch that may provide a leak path causing
the fitting to fail. Unlike multiple barb fittings that can
allow the tubing to bridge between the barbs, our single barb
design lets the tubing relax behind the sharp barb to ensure
a secure leakproof seal.
Quality
Control
Our check
valves are meticulously molded using the newest technology
to provide instrument quality fittings for demanding laboratory
applications. After molding, the check valves are assembled
using a non toxic technique without the use of foreign materials.
Our check valves are 100% inspected over sorting tables as
final measure prior to packaging.
